On Thursday 17th of May the UK Government issued the findings of the Hackitt Review. This is the review initiated after the Grenfell Tower fire.
It is important that everyone now carefully considers the findings of the Hackitt review and works together to ensure there is never another Grenfell.
The report sets out a new regulatory framework, which at this time focuses on buildings of more than 10 stories but could very well be rolled out across all buildings.
It will take time to put into effect through regulatory changes but if you are an architect, product manufacturer, supplier, installer, those in construction, those managing a property, those who own a property, you should be ready to fulfil your new obligations.
Joule Group will not only be following carefully the next steps to ensure that we fulfil our obligations and requirements for our line of work but also to help our clients to be prepared and ready to fulfil their duties.
