The BIM & Technology Manager will head up the development and deployment of BIM on major projects and programmes, delivering client outcomes which mutually benefit the support chain and add value to project.
This is a unique role to be at the sharp end of fundamental shifts in fire & life safety. You will play an instrumental role in shaping and transforming the current practices of our industry specifically relating to how:
- Fire & life safety information is integrated and coordinated in building information modelling (BIM) in order improve fire safety in buildings,
- Fire & life safety information is digitally recorded and accessible through the operational phase of buildings using our very own digital fire & life safety management platform – TFS Compliance
Both areas are critical to retaining the golden thread of information form RIBA stage 1 – 7.
With better fire & life safety information and the associated new data, we will create new opportunities for innovation, including automation of tasks to lead our industry, as well as the utilisation of augmented reality to help communicate fire & life safety better.
Key Duties
The role will also include:
- Liaising with external parties such as BIM Alliance, digital construction groups and others to influence how fire safety is incorporated in BIM.

As an Associate Fire Engineer, you will complement an entrepreneurial team to create and delivery fire & life safety products and services equipped for the future. This is a client facing role and you will be a primary contact for all matters pertaining to fire engineering, regulation, fire design and fire safety strategies.
You will support and drive the growth of our fire engineering team in London and drive the technical and commercial performance of part of our London team. You will help scale our business accounts by identifying new opportunities and winning work.

- Experience using NFPA and IBC codes and standards
- Use of blockchain technology.
- Development of plug-ins for BIM & Bluebeam
